A weekly comparison thread. The point is to share how you choose, so newer members learn the questions to ask — not to crown a winner. Worth comparing - Free data is often delayed 15 minutes or end-of-day — fine for planning, risky for execution. - Real-time data can carry exchange fees that depend on whether you are classed as a professional. - Know what your platform shows before you place a stop off a chart. Firm and tool profiles, with sources: https://zenithfx.com/directory Discussion: What data do you pay for, and what have you found you do not need? Mention a firm or tool by name if it helps, and say whether you have any relationship with it. Educational discussion, not financial advice. Trading involves significant risk of loss.

For futures, I'd treat delayed data as fine for planning the session and a poor basis for stop placement, since a 15-minute lag can hide the exact move you're trying to manage. The exchange fee question matters more than most newcomers expect, so check how your provider classifies you before comparing monthly prices. What data do people here find they can drop without losing anything? I've seen a case for end-of-day only on swing setups, but I'm less sure it holds for index futures around the open.
