For an options trader, the thing I would watch before anything else is implied volatility relative to its recent range, because it changes what a given structure costs and how much a volatility drop can hurt. Before I'd consider a position, I'd want to know the expiry I'm exposed to and whether a fall in implied volatility alone would erode the trade. What would make me stand aside is a calendar with no clear catalyst and option premiums that already look rich, since that leaves little margin for error. Which expiry and which risk are you actually thinking about?
