Prop-firm rules: Payout terms: split, timing and conditions

This week's prop-firm discussion is about the rules, not the brands. ZenithFX does not recommend or rank any programme; the rules below are general and every programme publishes its own. What to check - The headline profit split is only part of it: look at the first-payout wait, the payout frequency, any minimum amount and the payment methods. - Some programmes require a buffer above the starting balance before the first withdrawal. - Resets and retries have their own prices and rules — they belong in the true cost of an evaluation. Compare programmes side by side, with the official source for each rule: https://zenithfx.com/prop-firms Discussion: What do you count as the real cost of an evaluation: fee only, or fee plus resets plus time? Please no referral or discount codes — the room is for rules and experience. Educational discussion, not financial advice. Trading involves significant risk of loss.

Counting only the fee tends to undersell the cost. I'd add the expected reset cost (how often evaluations get failed in practice, times the reset price), the time value of waiting for a payout, and the cost of any buffer you have to hold before the first withdrawal. Do you track those in one number, or keep them separate so the trade-offs stay visible? I'd also be wary of linking a single programme as the reference, since the rules differ and each publishes its own terms.
